A leisure trip to Wollongong and decided to enjoy life by the beach at the Novotel. So glad we did! The rooms were big, bed is super comfy and the view is one of the best on the east coast. The reception team on check-in and out and they were all great to deal with. Will definitely stay again.

We loved the absolute beachfront of this hotel location. Being able to get up in the morning and go for a walk up to the lighthouse and then a swim at the North Beach and then coffee and breakfast was excellent!!! We also loved the cocktail bar for a night cap after dinner, lovely furnishing. It would have been nice to get free parking considering the cost of the rooms. That would have made everything 5 star ratings!!

The room was lovely and comfortable, and the bathroom had a great shower. The only complaint about the room was that the fridge made a weird clicking noise throughout the night. Our main issue with our stay was the lack of friendly service at check-in, as the man didn't tell us about the hotel's facilities or even seemed interested in talking to us. The young woman who served us at the bar that night was equally flat in her customer service. Thankfully, the lady checking us out the next day was friendly and conversational. It would also be helpful to know the price of parking your car at the hotel when you're booking, as we were blindsided by the cost when checking in.
