We were extremely disappointed. First of all, the property mixed up dates of our stay, charged us the money and refused to let us stay on our actual booked day. After chatting with wotif, they finally agreed after many phone call attempts. But this wasn't the worst, we were shocked to see the room with one double bed only for 4 of us. They were aware that we were going to check-in at midnight, so the key was left outside the reception. At midnight time we couldn't call anyone or get any help. My wife managed to squeeze in and sleep with our 2 kids but I had no place to sleep at all. There was no sofa etc at all which might have helped I had no choice but to sit on the chair and close my eyes, extremely terrible experiences. We have been to so many accommodations but this without a doubt, was the worst. Next morning, i had to drive again, so we left the key in the box and gone. Reception was still closed.

Property is in a great area for kids and families, however, the family room we stayed in was well below standard of expectations for a room. Albury is winter is cold, and the air conditioner in our room would not operate on its heat setting. The lights in the main bedroom would not work. You could use the shower if you were 5ft tall or less seeing the shower head was half way up the wall. The rooms are also rather old. I’d recommend spending an extra $50 and getting something nicer.

DO NOT STAY HERE The place was full of bed bugs, dirt, hair, stains on the walls, dangerous light fittings, broken taps fixed with bandaids, stains on sheets, dead flys, dust, dirty glassware and god knows what else. It also smelt so strongly of cigarettes and curry. It was not safe to stay there by myself, let alone with my 2 year old. I then had to book more accommodation costing me more. The photos advertised is not what you’re getting. It was disgusting and the woman at the front was no help whatsoever.

My room was filthy. Toilet not cleaned rubbish in bathroom sinks not cleaned. Desks & chair had spilled liquid also not cleaned. The whole room (bathroom included). Needed a good wipe & vacuum. It was a cheap room but it should be clean. spend the extra $20 stay somewhere better

My recent stay at Australia Park Motel was extremely disappointing. We arrived just after 8pm and had 2x children under 5 to get to sleep asap. We found a used pair of male underwear in the room, along with what appeared to be dog hair in the bathtub. After forgoing a shower after being on the road all day, we collapsed in the beds and went to sleep. At around 10:30 the front desk called and left a message after to say they had not been payed for the room. The lady who handed us our keys earlier that evening made no mention of this and we didn't appreciate the late call waking up 1 of our kids. On checkout, I went to go and discuss the cleanliness issues we had in our room but there was no one to talk to as the office doesn't open before 9. We spoke a few hours later over the phone and when I bought up the issues we had the response was extremely disappointing. "Sorry, we'll try better next time." "its hard to find good staff". When I asked if some compensation would be considered the response was "no, just pay". I should have bought up that we payed for a clean room and they hadn't delivered this but in my shock and disappointment I payed the amount. I will not be staying here again after doing so for the last 12 years. I would recommend seeking alternative accommodations. Happy to be contacted for confirmation!
