Location is great. 30 seconds to Cavil Ave and a short walk to the beach. Pool, spa and tennis court were great. you can borrow body boards for the beach. A lot of patience is needed in the morning / night during busier periods with the lifts. Waiting up to 10 mins was not uncommon. Some occasions they did not come so we had to take the fire stairs (from the 18th floor). The buffet breakfast was loud, busy and expensive. Far betted choices around. Overall the kids and I enjoyed our stay.

Firstly the staff were friendly however the issues we had there was probably not alot they could do, the outlook from our room on 7th floor was like a dump, also being on the 7th floor meant that everytime a lift arrived from 36 floors down was so full noone could get in even after waiting 30 minutes. We asked to be moved to a higher floor at check-in but were declined. The decor was so out-dated like an 80's motel and the facilities were like a hostel. The chairs in the buffet breakfast room were dirty, stained and some broken. We were very disappointed.

Stayed here last year and gave it five stars could not complain. This year i was very disappointed. On arrival our floors in our room was dirty. The spa wasn't working and tile were coming off the pool. For the whole 8days i only found one staff member who was great and they were a cleaner.

This hotel is in a great location. Easy walk to shops and beach. The car parking is extra $$ and the car park was fairly full and very tight for a big car. The room was spacious. But, it has work being done to the outside of the building. We walked in to a view of a workman’s scaffolding and emergency stop button a motor and hanging tools and dustpan and brush. Very off putting!! We asked for a new room which they quickly and easily gave. The tv turned on by itself 3 times during the night and we could mostly hear the air con unit on the balcony. It had a fun view of surfas buildings and people below. And the bungee sling shot ride, was fun to watch, but it doesn’t close until 12am so screaming can be heard until then. We avoided the pool because it looked terrible. The staff were great, location great, but we wouldn’t stay here again.

We have stayed here many times over the years. The location is perfect which is the hotel's biggest plus. It is a really nice place, definitely not 5 star, but it is comfortable, well maintained, staff are excellent, the buffet breakfast is great and it is just a perfect place for a Surfers getaway. I highly recommend it.
