We were looking firward to the stay iver xmas, unfortunatley few things that prevented it from being perfect:
1- Property wasn't fully clean, the cleaners had to come back to finish the job while we are in there.
2- I've been charged for an extra person. however, there was nothing extra supplied to cater for the 7th person. no extra towel or roll on bed.
3- There was only 1 toilet paper roll in 1 bathroom to cather for 7 people!
4- Microwave didn't work at all
5- Air-conditioning controller didnt work. we were freezing at night and couldnt turn it up, down or off.
6- Staff at Qstay office were not so helpful and quite rude:
A- When i called about the 1 toilet paper roll, she said to me thats all what you are getting and made a silly suggestion for me to go down to their office and take some of "thier" toilet paper rolls!
B- When i reported the towels issue, all what i got: Thats all what is there with no suggesti9ns to help. had to go and buy an extra towel for the additional guest that we paid extra for their stay.
C- When i reported the microwave issue, i received an email giving me the obvious instructions about how to check if it works, as if i never owned one. a follow up call couple of days after was quite useless as i was told only 1 service technician around and he won't be able to attend anyway. disappointing!
6- Facilities in the common areas overall are rundown and behind on maintenance.
if you still want to stay there, best to lower your expectations.
