The listing as stated at the time of booking, and at the time of leaving this review, was horribly inaccurate, so for the reference of others, let me make a few corrections:
- There are no communal kitchens
coffee/tea makers are "only for higher cost rooms" which is not stated in the listing
- Refrigerators are not provided
- A microwave is only provided if you ask the cleaner very nicely
- Bathrooms only provide showers in the form of a stand-in bathtub, horrifically inaccessible
- 'Flat-screen television' is an exaggeration for sure
- There is no oven
- There is no kettle
These same incorrect amenities listings also appear on Expedia.
Other notes:
- The floor of the bath creaks when stood on, which is unnerving.
- The hot water tap in the bathroom does not work
- The flush button on the toilet is broken
- Missing window pane in the bathroom
- No sink plugs
Worst of all is the disrespect from the manager when you contact to complain about these lies. No offering of compensation or refund on a cancellation, no offer to sort out any missing amenities, slow to reply. The manager is incredibly inhospitable and unprofessional, we couldn't believe our responses. Even going so far as to acknowledge that the listing was incorrect but that this was somehow not his fault. All in all the rooms are livable and clean, but they were so inaccurately represented that it severely dampened our london stay.
