Hotel ok but some major problems not being fixed
Hotel rooms comfortable size. Air conditioning not working. Reception staff seemed to have a stock response of "an engineer will be fixing this but we can provide fans". Was not fixed or any engineer visit during our stay. One of lifts not working. Again no sign of anyone being called to fix this. Would have expected better on both accounts based on cost of stay. Breakfast was ok, baps to make express breakfast were stale though. Reception and bar staff very polite.

The room was perfect for what we needed as we were attending a concert at the O2 London. The room was very clean and all linen exceptionally clean. Staff were very friendly. It was the hottest day of the year and when we checked in we were told we may not have AC as it was being refurbished. Luckily for us ours was working !!

A lot of great working class pubs near by and only a 15-20 minute walk from the O2 and north Greenwich tube station. Reasonably priced and the bar is open til 2. You can't go wrong here for a stay near the venue.

The fire alarm went off at 5am which disturbed my sleep. I believe it was a false alarm however there was no annoucement or communication neither was there an apology. There were issues with the temperature control in the shower. It would either be extremely hot or cold. It was difficult to get a warm flow. I spent about 5 minutes trying to get it warm. It was a lovely stay with great breakfast and amazing friendly staff however It would have been even better had the above not happened.

Good hotel for seeing a show at the O2
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights due to a concert at the O2. The hotel met our needs. It was walking distance to the O2 and also the subway stop there. It is in a fairly quiet area for London so you would have to take a cab or subway to an area with more going on, but as I said it is good for seeing a show at the O2.

No air conditioning and was told fans would be in the room, we left to attend a gig but on return no staff was at reception so we left it and returned to our rooms, the room was hot and stuffy as a result me and my partner had a terrible nights sleep we won’t be recommend to friends and family not to stay at a holiday inn
