Convenient location if you need to be near Cedars-Sinai. The room was really old and musty-smelling, old carpet, hair all over the bedding and towels. The garage has limited parking spots but I was able to get a spot both nights. Be aware there is a sketchy Taco Bell across the street and a free clinic next door, so there will be random people hanging around the area. The hotel charges $20/day for “amenities”, but I have no idea what those amenities are. Overall I survived my two nights and avoided having the car broken into, but personally I wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Cedars Sinai. Although the room was clean, the hotel itself (hallway and elevator areas etc) smelled of old cigarette smoke. We paid upfront through Expedia but upon checkout, the hotel made us pay a random $20 fee (not for parking). That was irritating. We asked to speak to the manager but the front staff said that was impossible and we were on our way to Cedars Sinai for a friends surgery and didn't have the time to deal with it but it was annoying.

If you are looking for a good hotel in a very centrally located area, this is it. While the hotel itself was an average stay, the staff was excellent and made it worth it. The room was sizable and had everything you would expect. The bed was very firm. It wasn't uncomfortable, but if you like a softer bed, this won't work for you. The bathroom had a small tub/shower and smaller sink area but it's still a good size overall. Parking on site is nice but would be a bit tricky if they were fully booked. The garage is under the property and you have to call each time you need to get back in. This was a bit of a pain but nothing I would knock them for. It's also two cars to a parking row. If you are in the front spot, the hotel would need to move the car behind you if you wanted to leave. Again, nothing to knock them over, just something to be aware of. It wasn't busy so we never had an issue getting in or out of the parking spot. There are good food/drink options all around this location so it's very walkable. If you are looking for a good place to stay that won't break the bank, I would recommend Elan.

Renovations Needed!
We stayed here once before a few years ago and it was fine. This time, not so much. Upon check in, we were informed of the happy hour and that the baseball game would be on. We checked into our room which smelled of mold and the room wasn't very clean. The bathroom was basically falling apart. The AC didn't work and after taking a shower, stepped out to see the whole bathroom had flooded. The tub had to have a leak somewhere, all my clothes were soaked. When we arrived to the happy hour, they were out of wine. We watched a bit of the game and then asked if our room TV would get the game and were told yes. The room TV only got a few channels, no game and the remote didn't work. Thankfully we were only there for the night, but will not be returning again.

The parking situation is inconvenient. In order to enter the garage to park your car, you must call their designated number parking number so the agent can open the gate for you. I will not stay at this property again for this exact reason.
