The first room that I got the shower was leaking after we came back from having dinner that whole area where the toilet is was all wet that’s why I Decided to ask for a new room and I was able to get it. I’m glad it was already 10 PM so I didn’t wanna wait for anybody to come and work on the room while I wanted to sleep, but it was great.

The location was convenient but there was a noise the whole time that is hard to describe. Sort of like something was dropping on the roof or attic? We were on the 3rd floor at the very far end of the hotel and wondered why we weren't given a room closer to the lobby since the hotel didn't seem to be very busy.

I paid in advance, but told me room was not paid for and charged my credit card again well addressed that tomorrow. Room is filthy. There’s no running water in the front desk. Did not know when it would be turned back on. I will pursue this further. It’s very late and I just want to get some sleep will tell you this is a dump, and absolutely do not stay here.

Terrible. Zero amenities. No restaurant or bar. Ice machines didn’t work. Only one elevator was functioning. Key cards didn’t work so I had to go to the front desk. Front desk was not helpful at all. Hot water non existent. No black out drapes as advertised.

My overall experience was Catfished !! This place was broken down dangerously. Had to move rooms, no towel service( after calling 5 times through multiple days of our stay. No phone in our 2nd room. Along with animal feces behind the sofa and trash, filthy is a nice word!!! While this stay was due to my dad being in ICU in Kaiser close by, I asked that I wouldn't be the today and please to have the room cleaned, that never happened and we had to reuse dirty towels. They say breakfast is included and it was a bad experience with unsafe food conditions, that I have pictures to document. The last day i had enough after spending 10 hours at the hospital coming back to a dirty room , no towels to take a shower and clean up. I attempted to speak with the front desk face to face and was treated like i was Non existent. And was given a towel to get out of their hair. I will NEver stay there or recommend this place to anyone. Sad that i had this added to the stress.

From what I understand they are making some changes there. I have been going there for the past few years , every time I in the state but this most recent visit I learned that they do not want you to smoke on the property anymore.And that includes the parking lot. I was advised to walk all the way out to the sidewalk in front which is poorly lit and very unsafe. I usually don't mind the $200 deposit Because I feel safe and secure. But I did not feel that way this time.

Get what you pay for nicer hotel down the road.
We check in Friday night we out to get food came back to the room and found several roaches and spiders on counter. At least 10 roaches found in the room went to the front office because no one answered the phone. They upgraded me to the second floor two king size beds, but it seems this room was in an area where maintenance worked. There were bikes on the balcony the sliding glass door did not lock, did not receive room service Requested a new set of towels, and I had to walk all the way to The front office to get towels. In an afterthought, this Hotel had four star rating. I highly disagree.

AVOID THIS PLACE
AVOID! We stayed at the Vanllee Hotel in Covina CA from 9/25 to 10/1. Our stay at this hotel was not pleasant to say the least. 1. For starters, the AC was not working most of the time. The first time I talked to someone at the front desk, I was told it was the whole building, which it did eventually come back on. The second time, I was told that maintenance would come up and check. We waited all afternoon/evening, and no one showed up. AC eventually came on the next day at some point. After that, it was out again. The next day I complained about the AC not working once again, I was told it that the whole building. That night my friend ended up getting a severe asthma attack and almost called for an ambulance because the room was so hot and stuffy (even with the window and door open at night). Monday, our room got up to 80 degrees and we had to leave just to get away from the heat. Thankfully the AC was working again before we had to check out the next morning. 2. The internet was spotty at best. I brought my laptop for work and was not able to do much at all because the signal was so weak that my computer (and both our cell phones) kept bounding off the signal. 3. The hot tub was not working, which we were really looking forward to. 4. Turns out the in-house restaurant is not open. According to the website, it's still there and functional. 5. There was a breakfast, but it was minimal at best. 6. No vending machines, ice machines, or laundry machines. SO MANY MORE ISSUES!
