Good place to stay in Carmel on a budget.
Carmel is an amazing place. I would be happy staying just about anywhere there. However, the decor in alot of the lodging there is a bit dated. Regardless, the price was on the low end so that is to be expected. Even though the room had a fireplace I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic getaway, but for any other reason it is just fine. The bed was comfortable, the location was pretty quiet and its only 2 blocks from the shopping on Ocean Ave. The clerk was very nice and friendly!

This inn was conveniently located. It was an easy walk to downtown Carmel by the Sea. We could leave our car at the inn, so we didn't have to find parking or move on street car parking
