The accommodation needs major updates. Walls peeling away. No fly screens on windows so couldn’t open them. Remote for light and fan didn’t work properly. Wouldn’t recommend The Grand to anyone.

For the special discounted price we got it was ok. I wouldn't want to have paid more than what we did. It definitely didn't live up to the photos on the website. Bathroom facilities were very tired and there were small cockroaches in the shower. Also being a Monday night it was fine I would be concerned about Friday or Saturday night. We were only there 1 night so we survived. Staff were very lovely.

Had a lovely stay here recently. Unfortunately the air conditioner wasn’t working and the ceiling fan was positioned so high it wasn’t effective. Would stay here again but maybe not in summer, when cooling is needed. Great clean bathroom and comfortable bed.

Loved this Hotel!!!!!
I loved this hotel, it was so fun to stay at! The staff were very fun to talk to and gave great ideas of things to do. The food at the hotel was OMG so good. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to be transport back in history. The balcony was so amazing to sit and drink tea.

No fuss check in, reasonable condition for such an old building (but hot water in shower of the en suite room is a major let down, plumbing work is required immediately) Good bistro facility and happy hour in the hotel. Although no on site parking in the building, free parking spots on the street after 6 pm is abundant.
