Great place to stay, very convenient ,centre of town, close to all cafes etc. The room might have been compact but the shower was great and so were the beds and it had a micowave as well as the usual jug and toaster.

Bar and Domestic Staff were exceptional and courteous. Convenience to shops, station, clubs was excellent. Rates were good. Missed having small table outside of room to soak up sun and read paper. No telephone in room. Plant trees in ground where previous ones had died.

This was a satisfactory overnight stay. Would have rated better if I didn't have issues with the parking space initially being taken by another guest. Nice people. Nice town with lots of take-out options. Family oriented pub/motel. Very quiet overnight so slept well. Mattress was very comfy. Tea/coffee making facilities appreciated. Desk was useful. Hot water in shower was good. AC was quiet and worked well. Negatives: the car parking issue. Carpet was heavily stained which let it down on cleanliness. No openable window so felt stuffy. Playground was quite noisy, but that stopped before bed time. No bedside lamp. Gravel driveway was noisy. Controversial: bathroom sink doubled up as kitchen sink, located externally to the bathroom. I worked with it fine. A good budget option.
