Great down town location. Very noisy street outside. Old windows were a little hard to close fully to minimise outside noise. Breakfast consisted of cakes and coffee and fruit. 2/3 healthy choices want bad ;-)

This was a great, affordable hotel in SF. Staff were friendly, rooms were small but clean, and it really had everything we needed. I’d stay here again and would recommend it.

When I checked into my room I was ready to shower and in the shower there was a used body rag. Also, I was moved from one room to the another without being informed and when I got back from a long day my key tag did not work. I had to go to the front desk and get a new one and then I had to be escorted to the previous room pack all my stuff and move to the new room. Would’ve been nice to had received a call or text informing me. The staff seemed very unapologetic about all this. The hotel is in a bad part of town. There is a lot of homelessness and my daughter and I felt very unsafe. I would not stay in this area or this hotel again.

Affordable option in Union Square, but you get what you pay for. Definitely a bit run down, but clean enough, on a reasonably safe block, and comfortable beds. I travel to SF weekly and stay here when rates elsewhere are too high.
