This cosy, comfortable, and bright two-bedroom, one-bathroom home has a relaxed open-plan living and dining space that can be set to the ideal temperature all year round.

If you have some tasty holiday meals in mind, the kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials. You'll also be glad to have a BBQ on hand during summer. In the evening fire it up for a classic feast fresh off the grill.

The great indoor-outdoor flow here at Mt Beach Retreat is ideal for dining al fresco in the garden, lounging out in the sun, and just enjoying the central Mt Maunganui atmosphere!

This home comfortably sleeps up to four guests and is equipped with all the great amenities, including an outdoor shower. Wander home from the beach with the kids and easily rinse off the sand and swim gear.

For days outdoors you're within easy walking distance to local amenities on the main street, including shops, cafes and restaurants. Plus, you're within a five-minute walk to the beach in either direction with the popular surf beach one way and the harbourside and Pilot Bay on the other side. For the cooler days, an easy walk will take you to the Mt Hot Pools for a relaxing soak in one of the heated saltwater pools located at the base of Mauao.

Great property & location
Excellent property. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great location close to restaurants and beach on a quite residential street. Would definitely stay again.

Very good with a couple of small issues
Key code access number had been changed since initial booking. I had trouble with code. A phone call to agent sorted this, however, I hadn't been informed of the change from time of booking to time of checking in. Linen; we felt that ONE hand towel for bathroom for 3 adults for 4 nights was inadequate. Also, only 1 bath towel each for 4 nights was rather skimpy. HOWEVER, a phone call to the agent found a very happy outcome to the situation. There was remnants of a previous occupier having smoked by leaving cigarette remains, in a bowl, in a drawer in main bedroom. Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend to others.
