The hotel was wonderful. We were upgraded to a loft suite which was big and had a super comfortable bed. Everyone we interacted with was very kind and polite - front desk staff, housekeepers, and wait staff. The breakfast buffet was delicious! The only downside was that the walls were quite thin - we could clearly hear people in the neighbouring room talking late into the night and listening to music.

I booked this hotel specifically because it advertised as pet-friendly, so I could bring my dog along while attending an event in Victoria. But as soon as I checked in, I was handed a form to sign saying no pets can be left in the room alone under any circumstance. This was a total surprise, especially since I had to pay extra for having my dog with me. Unfortunately, this restriction forced me to bring my dog out to my vehicle and leave him there while I was at the event. Not only did this completely defeat the purpose of bringing him, but it was also just frustrating. I wanted to enjoy my trip with my dog, not worry about whether he’d be safe in a car every time I had to step out. If you’re traveling with a pet, this hotel might not be worth the hassle!

I love the fact that they had a breakfast buffet included, which was excellent. I also appreciated the filtered water which was supplied in the ice room. The beds were super comfortable, the only thing we were missing was a microwave. We called down to the lobby to see if we could use one in the facility. They were so accommodating, they said they had one and brought it to our room. All the staff were amazing.

Nice heritage hotel with a lovely garden facing the inner harbor. Walkable distance to many attractions. We like almost everything…just the restaurant’s washroom locates downstairs and is not very pleasant to visit.
