As someone who frequently travels and stays in high end resorts and hotels I was very disappointed in the fact that they didn’t have a welcome bottle of wine as well as any toiletries. As in they only provided a bar of soap. They didn’t provide any other shower or bathroom toiletries. No bathrobe was provided. No slippers. It really felt like a motel 8 bottom of the barrel

Beware if all the hidden charges. This is a huge property but they are extracting money from the customer for each and every service they provide. Wifi, parking is heavily charged. Even Being a reputed hotel they are not telling the customers upfront before booking about these charges. They will block $100 security charge per night which is huge when it comes to canadian hotel standards. I missed the vibe of proper swimming pools as well.

The thermostat in the room was broken. They sent technicians (3) to try to fix it. Still did not work. We felt the rooms were over priced considering the issue we had. We did talk to one of the managers & she compt a breakfast. Feel they should have adjusted our bill Other than that, it is a beautiful area.

Always a first-rate experience when staying at this lovely property in Whistler. Friendly staff and great amenities. Appreciated the complimentary room upgrade (it was my boyfriend’s birthday) so thank you Westin! We look forward to returning again soon.
