Annoyed! I’ve been working away from home for the past five weeks and decided to 'splash-out' on a decent hotel on my way home. I was advised by reception that hotel maintenance would commence at 8:30am and that it may disturb my requested late checkout. I woke up at 7am to the sounds of hammering and concrete drilling next door. I really only have two expectations for hotel life: clean and quiet. Atura, you failed the first. Also, don’t be fooled by the price-point of this joint. The beds are good, the place is clean, the plywood fit-out is cheap.

Stayed in Atura overnight as a family with a small child for an early morning flight. We stayed in a 2 queen bed room. Loved that we had curtains to darken the room, the soundproof worked wonderfully to get my toddler to sleep while the sun was still shining and peak hour flights above us. The room was extremely clean and smelt AMAZING. Not stale or anything, it was really pleasant. Both my husband and I thought the beds were super comfortable and cosy and loved that they have a huge range of pillows available for ordering too which was an outstanding extra. Check in was convinient to do prior to arrival and use the kiosk. Hotel let us park our car out the front and take our bags up to our room prior to dropping the car off at the rental place which was very convenient. Great location, literally a one minute walk to the terminal. The ONLY downside was that our air conditioning was super noisy and hummed a lot, did mean it took a bit longer to tune it out to sleep, and I didn’t realise this until the morning when I turned it off. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

No kettle in the room and could not get reception staff to answer the phone. Had to go down to reception to talk to a staff member. Light bulbs missing out of lights. Handy to the airport which is it’s saving grace.

Very clean and convenient stay. Common area in foyer had a pool table, bar, cafe and restaurant. Colouring in for the kids. Buffet breakfast was $35 or cheaper if you prebooked with a good selection. Not enough towels in the room but that was easily sorted out in minutes. Check in and check out was straightforward. Cheaper booking through Wotif than calling hotel directly. Hotel is connected to airport with flight details available on tv in room and in foyer. A nicer place to wait for your flight rather than in the airport. Overall a good stay.

I had difficulty working my aircon, I called staff ( which are supposed to be 24hr) and no one answered my call for about 3 mins. I gave up and eventually worked it out myself. Other then this the service and facility was great.
