After researching many options on Hotels.com reviews, I booked at the Signature Maingate for our 4 day Disneyland trip in July. I chose it because it was reviewed to be no nonsense, had free parking, included great grab & go breakfast, was clean & close. And the reviews were 7.8 stars. I was concerned to later find much lower ratings on Google. I almost cancelled. I AM SO GLAD I DID NOT! This place is the real deal. We slept, showered & had breakfast there. It met our needs as we played all day at the parks. Let me dispel some of the review concerns I came across. Staff went above and beyond. Room was clean! Beds were comfortable. No bugs. Plenty of linens. Showers were in good repair & always had hot water (8 people in 2 adjoining rooms & our 2 showers never had problems). Only online concern I validate is the one that says the door locks seem sketchy. They are a bit loose & there is daylight that shows vertically between the door & its frame. Thick weather stripping may be a quick fix if it doesn't impede the door? However, let me say the doors 100% lock with a deadbolt & a security bar. I NEVER FELT UNSAFE.

Returning guest and will return again. The room is very comfortable and kept clean. The grab and go breakfast offerings are great to get your day started. Christopher at check in was very friendly, helpful and informative. Christine has a great personality and really enjoys talking with the guests in the breakfast room.

The staff at Signature Anaheim Maingate were wonderful. They even helped us out before our official check-in time! And they helped us the next morning with breakfast and getting us on the road. My only constructive criticism (and this may have been a one-time oversight) is that they need to provide one bar of soap in the sink area and a second bar of soap in the shower area. Other than that, well done!

Location was nice and great view of the Disneyland firework show. People who work here are nice and helpful with great recommendations. Problems I had were the door had a gap and kept the outside noise pretty loud. Room had some cosmetic damage and an unwanted visitor at the end of my stay saw a cockroach.

I stayed here during my vacation to Disneyland resort. To start the walking distance is a little over a mile and will take a little more than 30mins to do walking at a good speed. The hotel it self was okay. To start off with the good, the fridge and microwave were very clean and room service made sure towels were restocked and my personal blanket even got nicely placed out on two of the three days. The shower looked cleaned and there wasn't any major stains to be found. Also, they will hold your bags for you if you arrive too early to check in allowing you to go explore without lugging around your bags. As for the not so good, the shower water can stay cold if you are showering at a time with other people in hotel causing it to not get warm. There were a few hairs left in the bed and on the comforter. The usb ports in the lamps didn't work alongside with the iron. The shower head had a leak on the side that caused a lot of water to end up on the floor so I suggest laying a towel out before hand. The walls a very thin and you can mostly hear all the neighbors conversation. Lastly room service will turn off the ac leaving the room a little warm upon your return.
