I chose this location as it was the closest available near the USC campus. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. My flight arrived earlier than planned and was able to check-in to the hotel with no issues. Cons: 1. Pool was small and wasn’t heated (maybe that happens off season) 2. If you don’t have a car, this is not the hotel for you. I thought I would be around more walk friendly options but that wasn’t the case 3. Besides a pizza place and Shake Shake, food options were non-existent

Property was fine. Staff was impeccable. However, Expedia needs to be much more forthcoming about the destination fee. When I checked out of the hotel, I was informed of an additional destination fee per night. This was nothing short of a hidden fee that Expedia could have clearly earned me about at checkout while booking the trip. I’m sure it was probably written in some fine print, but there needs to be made much more visible to the customer. Otherwise I view it as a deceptive tactic to entice people to make the booking at a presumably lower price.

Great DTLA location close to 4-5 local attractions. Room was spacey, a little dated. The destination fee and $65 valet parking are hard to justify - especially when they don’t charge your car overnight and they offer ‘free’ tickets to 2 already free museums
