I know that Down Town Los Angeles is having a severe homeless and addiction issue. The hotel was average but, what impacted my view of the experience is how bad parking was. It was disgusting and extremely expensive. The surroundings of the hotel were filthy. Plus, walking a few steps felt unsafe. I will not stay at this location ever again.

The staff were amazing and the room was great. Unfortunately Downtown wasn’t the exact vibe I had imagined, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Good for a short stay though!

We stayed here for the price and location. And I guess we got what we paid for. The room. Bed Sheets are literally plastic and mattress is of the lowest quality. Shower tiles need a DEEP clean and carpets were disgusting. Sat and Sun nights there’s a club and your room will vibrate till midnight. We did love the coffee shop inside and the keyless entry. I needed to be downtown for work unfortunately DT La has just gotten extremely unsafe and taken over by the homeless.

Interesting concept. Small rooms but with clever design layouts to maximize the space. The bed was essentially a futon, but more comfortable than it sounds, with the TV mounted to the wall right at the foot of the bed (which was also up against the wall). The staff were very friendly. However, there was no parking, so be prepared to spend an extra $15-30 per night on parking.

DTLA is ok.
At the hotel for a brief stay. Got in very late with a few issues accessing the door and lift. Room was pleasant enough but a very strange odor close to the bed that may well have been urine which was not good. The few staff I saw and dealt with were ok and the location was exactly where I needed to be adjacent to the theatre.

Had a wonderful stay. The rooms arenice and the location is perfect for whenever we wanted to go eat or shop. Mostly every destination was walkable. Will be returning!

Like sleeping in a garage parking lot.
I hate this hotel. The photos show normal room with carpet and ceilings. But I stayed in what was like a garage parking lot. Cement floors cement ceilings, window is against a wall absolutely no light.

No parking - front desk guy said to park in the “structured lot with security a block away, because cars get broken into in the lot next door”, the front door and lobby smell like urine, bed is super low - 6 inches off the ground, carpet was dirty, need sound blocking curtains - just has blackout roll down shades. The taco shop in the parking lot was the best feature. If you are going for a an event at the theater it is convenient, but not a good option in general

I was surprised with no-person check-in. Complicated process. Also I was upset with no option for early check-in which I really needed. The room itself was small, with trash furniture. Not very clean. Water in the shower never got hot, barely warm. No foot towel. Enjoyed face mask and fresh towels only.

The worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel. The room they put me in was disgusting, the bathroom was nasty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since they opened the place. There was dirt/dust on the bedding. The carpet looked dirty. I couldn’t even sleep there I walked Into the room was there for 5 minutes and walked right out. I had To book another hotel. 0/10 do not recommend.
