The first picture on the properties profile on here is of the pool and you have to dig really deep in the description to see the pool was closed. We weren’t informed about the event happening the next day at check in and the man who checked us in was the least bit sympathetic to our disappointment about the lack of information.

This hotel is in a great location. Close to great dining options on Hillhurst Ave, Franklin Ave and N. Vermont Ave in the Los Feliz area. The rooms are a bit bedraggled but the beds were comfortable. My room had a small table but no chairs. The blinds were broken and the window AC unit was difficult to operate because most of the buttons were so small and rubbed out and so were nearly indecipherable. There were no screens in the windows so cracking the window for fresh air was not possible. It was stuffy and stale in the room. There was no lamp on the shelf between the 2 beds and the light switch for the very bright overhead recessed ceiling lights was at the front door. I chose this hotel because it has a pool. However, the pool was closed because it was getting a “facelift “. On a positive note, the Front Desk staff was Super nice. Also, it was quiet and there was a very kind overnight Security Guard who guarded the parking lot at the center of the property and all of the hotel rooms which all faced the parking lot. I really appreciated these positive aspects of my experience.

I was a little disappointed with the quality of the hotel, the room smelled moldy and the towels were damp. I think you get what you pay for. I suggest looking for a higher end place and spending accordingly.

This was a very basic hotel but we chose it because it had free parking and a pool. Unfortunately the pool is closed down. Everything else was fine, check in staff was very nice!

Horrible place because they tell me that I smoke in the room but I didn’t smoke in the room and they tell me the deposit will not refund because of the smoke , place was already smells some weird smell before I got there so they put everything in you

Family Universal Studios trip
Room was okay, bathroom "barn door" was poorly executed, you could see inside with the door closed. The grounds were well kept and had movie themed murals around property which was fun. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and staff was nice. There was a Cafe mocha machine in front lobby for morning coffee. There is a pool on property that is pretty deep on the deep end, our boys enjoyed it. There is security onsite 24 hours, which made us feel more comfortable in this area. Overall it was a decent hotel for the price. We stayed here to go to Universal Studios, and it was a perfect distance to get a cheap Uber to and from.
