Motel 6 ran out of gas the first night we were there. We had no heat and no hot water the entire time. We would like full credit for the stay. They first told us that they were going to get the gas filled and the water heater and heat would start working again and then the next day told us it would not happen until after we left. This was a terrible experience.

Thanksgiving trip
The room was clean, bed comfortable. No refrigerator or microwave. The room was located next to the stairway so it was quite noisy with people coming and going late in the evening and very early in the morning.

We had problems with our door, too drafty and allowing the smoke from our neighbors to come into the room. Check-in was unpleasant. Borrowing a shovel was unpleasant. Both because the front desk clerk was unhelpful. But then the manager and another staff member were helpful

Renovated and pet friendly without a fee! I’ve been to Mammoth several times and this was my first time here. Location is great; easy to get to the mountain and around town. I would stay here again!

I love staying here for any snow trip! I didn’t catch her name, but the lady who checked us in had beautiful long dark hair and glasses. She literally was so amazing, kind, and helpful!! Everyone encounter there usually is, but she really went above and beyond!

Tiny room. Cheap mattresses. No fridge. No microwave. Poor WiFi service. Checked out after one night and moved to the Quality Inn across the street. The Quality Inn was luxurious by comparison and less expensive.

It was very cold and snowing at the time I checked in at Motel 6 in Mammoth Lakes. I was given a room where the heater was NOT working and the thermostat was broken. I had to walk in the cold and ice toward the office to complain about the heater not working in the cold of the night.

Our stay here was really weird. The room was very bare. I've frankly lived in nicer Army barracks. No toiletries except for a small bar of soap were provided, not that the shower had anywhere to place the soap or any other toiletry items. The toilet had a seat, but no lid. The hot water in the sink didn't work. The staff were friendly, so when we called the front desk in the middle of the night because our neighboring room's alarm started going off at midnight and didn't stop, they said that they couldn't do anything, but gave my wife a key to get into that room. They said, "I don't think there's anybody in there." Luckily the room was actually unoccupied, and we just unplugged the alarm clock. It's a shame, everybody was super nice but it just doesn't seem like a well-managed place and the rooms are not very nice for what you pay. Definitely look elsewhere in town. It's almost guaranteed to be better value.

Such a great staff!
The room was exactly as they said it would be and very clean. The staff are what makes this place great! They were super helpful and courteous! Will always stay here from now on.
