Man at desk was very nice. 24 hour surveillance camera. Close to Aquarium…do not drive there. NO place to park. Leave car at hotel and take a “ride share”.

I have been traveling for close to 40 years and this is the dirtiest place I’ve ever been in. It smelled pee all over the place. I don’t understand why Orbitz has not dropped their partnership with this place. The kitchen area was odorous, so is the place where the beds are. The whole place just stunk. We checked in at night, yes I should have have had them change my room but I was so tired so even walk to the office to have it looked into. When I went to the office the following morning, the Indian looking woman said that she asked the housekeeper to open the bathroom window to let the air out. So she knew the place stunk!

What you would expect for the price point. A couple of things weren’t great: bathtub had no stopper so my daughter couldn’t take a bath. The fridge didn’t work. Walls were a little thin. But it was clean and the location was very central. We spent most of our time elsewhere so as a crash pad, this place worked nicely.

Check in/ out was easy and parking was good. I’ve stayed in many of these small motels in the Monterey/pacific grove area and this was the worst. Room was old and rundown. Floor and ceiling was dirty. Sheets were clean but old and snagged. Was an acceptable place to sleep but wouldn’t recommend.

Older hotel. Furniture and aesthetics a little outdated. Room was clean, had a microwave and a full size mini fridge. Has a full fireplace stocked with instant fire log. Convenient location near downtown Monterey, beaches, wharf, and golfing. I would stay again.

The hotel may be a little older but they take great pride in keeping it looking great. The grounds are nice. Rooms are clean. Parking lot may be small but clean and well marked.

Nice little hotel with no amenities. No breakfast and no coffee maker in room or lobby. Only basic cable for TV. I’ve stayed her in the past when they had a pool, breakfast and coffee in the room. The pool and hot tub has also been filled in and turned into a patio. Not bad if you get a good price. Bed was comfortable and room clean.
