The hotel downgraded the room I got for my mom without approving it with her and the supervisor tried to use scare tactics to get me to accept this downgrade. He lied to the Expedia agent and refused to refund me the difference in the downgrade. Also when we went there, there was no hot water. Breakfast buffet is great. Room is OK - clean bedding but worn out shower. The cafe attached to this hotel has poor vegan options, but there are many around the city. There are almost no beach rentals available, so while you get a free one each day, this is a red herring because they'll probably be gone by the time you wake up.

Felt put off at check in when person checking me in was paying more attention to another patron and trying rent beach gear to other patron and halfway checking me in. I was being helped and then not being helped. She then said to her colleague “can you finish this “ regarding my check in like it was an inconvenience. I didn’t say anything, just not a welcoming check in to a hotel where rates are fairly high. Room was lovely but I had requested housekeeping services because of our length of stay. On day 3, we needed to ask the front desk for service. Again, I can make a bed and hang our towels but as this was a longer stay for a special occasion and I had requested the service at check in, I was put aback at the lack of follow through. So, it is a nice hotel but needs some fine tuning. It is less expensive than the two right across the street but if I were to go back to Oceanside, I’d try those instead.

Really slow elevators waited 15 mins too get from lobby too basement not happy with that. Lobby was crowded everyone waiting for elevator because only one too takes you too the basement.

Very nice place , it’s just minutes from the beach and they offered breakfast also , which I don’t remember seeing online . But breakfast was very good . Top it off the had chairs & umbrella for customers to use . Customers service was the best
