This is a wonderful, clean property with some of the best drinks I had during my time in Palm Springs. All the cocktails are made fresh to order, not premade, and the bartenders are highly skilled. The location is also very convenient, being close to the main strip. The room I stayed in was nice, though a bit small. As a Platinum Expedia member, I requested my complimentary upgrade but was informed that no upgrades were available during my stay. Unfortunately, towards the end of my visit, the water in my room was turned off due to waterline issues, and I was moved to a one-bedroom suite. While I appreciated the upgrade, I wish my platinum upgrade would have been honored upon check in to avoid the inconvenience of being without water for hours and having to pack up and move rooms. overall this is a great place to stay and I did enjoy my time at the Avalon Hotel :)

Front desk was amazing and the property is so quaint and sleek. The staff also have our son food to feed their coi fish and have us complimentary sparkling wine upon arrival! Then they delivered complimentary champagne. Place felt like a home away from home. Will definitely stay here again.

The suite to which we were upgraded looked NOTHING like the pictures. It was a battle to get the upgrade.

Hotel stay rating
Great location and didnā€™t need to rent a car since downtown with lots of restaurants within walking. Hotel nice and quiet and they keep up the grounds nicely. I liked that they had an adult pool separate from the family pool. The room needed some improvement with bathroom outlet not working and the tp holder falling off the wall. The light from the refrigerator was too bright so I threw a towel over it when sleeping. I liked that we were able to use their bikes to tour around the neighborhood. Overall pretty goodā€¦
