Beautiful Hotel! Went for the Christmas lights and decorations. Took a self tour of the hotel, 4th floor was amazing. The self parking was very expensive. Our room was lovely, but it was very noisy. It sounded like something on rollers was on the floor above us. It happened several times when we were sleeping and about 6 am.

Check in was a nightmare, I was lied to by the staff repeatedly. I requested early check in (2pm) and was happy to pay the fee. Upon arrival @145pm I filled out the paperwork and was told you room will be ready in 20 minutes. No problem I walked around and stopped by the desk 3 more times each time being told your room isn’t quite ready. I then went to the Presidential Lounge to sit down and wait for a friend. My friend arrives (from Los Angeles) and tells me they already got there room and asked what floor I was on? As you might imagine I was a bit agitated. Went back to the front desk to inquire about my room 2 queens btw- exact same room as my friend “ sorry not quite ready yet”. Finally asked to speak with management and like magic my room was ready….. Overall, the hotel was cool- the staff and management are not.

Decor for the holidays is awesome.The room we are in not tidy.Dusty and the vent has dirt and full of dust.The toilet bowl cover makes noise.we are in room number 172.We check out at 9:40am(check out is 11am) in their express check out at 9:40 but recieve a call at 3 pm saying that our stuff is still in the room.)do they even check the room?On our day of arrival we call for housekeeping to vacuum at least but nobody came.Wifi is very slow .Restaurant food is really good tho.

Mission Inn is a little piece of Heaven on Earth. The customer service is the best - Ms. Layla at the front desk was helpful and gave us great advice about the famous Festival of Lights. Mr. Arturo at the Mission Inn Restaurant offers the best attention to details to all customers and we feel he gave us the royal treatment for our celebration. The food is fantastic - we ate there for breakfast and dinner. We travel around the world and the Christmas Decor is one of the best experiences you can enjoy around the holidays - makes you feel like a kid again. The property is amazing and unique, the front desk could use more people so you don’t have to wait so long for check in and out. The area around the property smells like sewer in certain areas. The festival of lights was a nice added touch. The pool and hot tub could be a bit cleaner and the hot tub could be a few degrees hotter. Over all enjoyable!!

Great night to experience xmas decorations
Absolutely loved our stay and we were delighted to see the hotel decked out in Christmas decorations. It was a pleasant surprise and so festive. We stayed one night after a show at the Fox Theater. It was perfect to walk a block from the hotel to the theater. The area around the hotel was full of fun shops, restaurants and coffee places. Will definately go back!
