Was a disappointment on a few different levels. When I arrived they did not have the room I paid for. They downgraded our room and offered it as an option. When I said no thank you they said well your original room is no longer available. There was a price difference and they said that I would have to call Expedia. I called Expedia and they said they needed to talk with hotel. Expedia repeatedly tried to call the hotel and said no one was answering (it was about 9pm and there was no activity in the reception. I went to my room to try and wind down. Took a shower and found black curly hair throughout shower.
The two make staff was very dismissive and rude. We normally have great experiences with Hampton Inns - this one was a poor example of the level of service usually provided by this chain. We had a long day on the road and was looking forward to a restful evening. Will never go back there again.
