My room was so loud from outside noise even when all the windows are shut. A part of the carpet was wet. Overall, the room didn't feel clean enough. You get what you paid for.

We stayed here for Comicon. It was easy walking to the Old Town trolly station and access to amazing restaurants. Convenient underground parking, generous breakfast buffet and comfortable quiet rooms. Would suggest for any visit to San Diego.

Overall a great stay for 8 days. Quiet room with no road noise considering the hotel is near a main road. Room clean, staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast included with good hot and cold options. Pool area is clean and tidy and towels available to use free of charge. Only minor negative is the pool area had a couple of places that needed concrete repairing. Hotel is located a short walk to the MTS trolley and to the main food area with lots of great restaurants. Would definitely stay again if visiting San Diego.

Please be sure to locate the black out curtains. I didn’t locate them until the 2nd night the outside light kept me up all night. The 2nd night was much better. The room was comfortable and the staff was friendly.

Our stay at comfort inn was great however, there are a few things that we didnt like. For starter the floor in our room we usually walk around without our socks yknow trying to get comfy. But I noticed when i checked my foot they are all black even after we showered. Black stained in our foot i dont know if its the rug but it needs to be deep clean. As well as when we moved the small chair in the corner of the room we found some trash under it.

The property was overall adequate, but the room we were given was noisy, even though I specified a quiet room. It faced the highway, and was not particularly clean. And while it says "Old Town," it is a walk to Old Town itself, so the name is a bit misleading.

The pool was good. The room was good except the bedding comforter was dirty -noticed at bedtime and in the morning g I told the front desk at check out they were almost indifferent.
