Great resort style property with beautiful grounds. The back back of property parking lot could have been cleaned up a bit - loose trash etc. and some power washing of the walkways in and around the larger tower property was needed. Marketplace was a bit pricey. I realize that it is a historic and older building that had been renovated. The rooms were comfortable but lacked the sexiness of the rest of the property - hence the value price per room. Overall, fantastic property and would definitely stay again!

Great dining, having plenty of outdoor sitting area with fire pit, great get together place. The entire landscape of the hotel is well-designed. Most important is free parking for staying. We will return.

Positives are the staff were friendly and the hotel grounds are nice. We were happy with the 2 pools and water slide. The look of the hotel grounds gave it a tropical vacation feel and the location is a short drive from many local attractions. We stayed in the Happy Campers building which is the older part of the resort (maybe even part of the original hotel). It is a motel style building with very basic rooms (no table other than the bedside table, no hooks on the bathroom door etc).The fridge took a while to work. The water temperature in the shower would initially only get lukewarm at most and was sometimes only cold (this improved slightly after we asked if maintenance could fix the issue). I regret not booking in the Palm Tower, however, Happy Campers was only steps away from both pools which was very convenient. Downside was that we were not satisfied with housekeeping. Examples of some of the issues include not replacing dirty towels, not replacing toilet paper and leaving dirty towels in the room. On one of the days they did not clean the room at all. This happened a few times during our 6 night stay. I’m not sure if this is indicative of the overall quality of housekeeping for the whole resort or if our experience was just an anomaly. We made the most of it and still had a fun trip but would consider booking elsewhere for future trips based on the experience with housekeeping.

Our overall stay was average. The shower of course had hair in it. Every time we thought we cleaned it all more would pop up. Upon entry of the room we noticed an old musty scent that never left. Overall the staff were nice and attentive. The waterslide was closed down 3/4 nights of our stay. I would suggest making parking more affordable for guests.

I loved the unique feel of all the decor and fun atmosphere. Loved the funny puns on the key cards, the do not disturb signs, and other signs around the property. Our rooms A/C was not working, so that was disappointing. Other then that loved the resort
