Nice clean hotel.
Had a few days to do business in Santa Barbara. 2nd time staying here nice hotel. Nice clean rooms not to big or to small if your traveling with a family member or not. Close to restaurants and shops. Everything you need and a short little drive to downtown area. Also close enough to UCSB which is a plus if you have a child attending school and are not from the area. Would and will stay here again when need be.

Our room was next to a gate that got slammed all night long as people came and went. The pool was not operational and was inconvenient going to the other side of the property. You could hear people up stairs stepping. They did not have the breakfast available. They had a sign of snacks you could buy and they were not available. We had a balcony we could not use for there was no chairs. Very disappointed from what the website showed.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Just a heads up to ask exactly where your room is located if it’s your first stay. Room numbers are comically hard to see. We passed two other guests searching for their rooms as we searched for ours. :)

The rooms had the necessary amenities. No frills. The restaurant was under construction and no continental breakfast was provided. We were given a list of recommended restaurants and we really liked the one we selected.

Enjoyed the room and convenience in location. While the staff did their best, I felt they could improve communication within their team. Several times, I came up to the desk to speak with someone after being on the phone with a staffer and the desk rep did not know what I was talking about.

It would be even better if there is a kettle
Except for the small room, which is not very cost-effective, everything else is quite good. It is clean and tidy, equipped with a microwave and capsule coffee machine. However, the coffee machine is not recommended to use. It would be even better if there is a kettle. There is a large supermarket across from it, everything is complete, and there is also a Macy's

Super cute, away from the how busy the main area of State Street but is still a quick drive away. But it’s also just across the street from a huge shopping area with restaurants. The inn itself is also gorgeous, the rooms are spacious and clean and it’s such a cute and lovely place. I actually prefer it here than some hotels on State Street - this is a great spot and especially at a great price!

Not as expected in Santa Barbara.
Upon check-in we were told that the ability to have breakfast wasn't available due to it being under construction. It would have been nice to be advised before traveling. Room is dated and stained carpet between the beds isn't appealing.

We always enjoy this motel. The pool is one of my favorites. This time our TV didn’t seem to be working and we had issues with the water in the morning. We also were disappointed that the breakfast that is usually provided wasn’t available. I believe these issues may be due to the construction/renovation. I would definitely stay here again due to my past positive experiences, the clean room, and the friendly staff.
