Still a Gem on the El Camino
Requested a quiet room away from others and they delivered! A room at the end of the hall, facing the back of the property. The room and service were as nice as they were pre-pandemic, when we stayed last. Courteous staff, comfortable bed and pillows with extra pillow/blanket in the closet. Conveniently on the El close to eateries and the freeway.

This is a 2-star hotel that tries to portray itself as luxury. Just a few things we disliked...the floors and walls were dirty, the water pressure in the shower was very low. The hotel is broken up into 4 or so different buildings, some of which are in the back and felt kind of unsafe and dark in the surrounding area. The staff was nice enough. It certainly wasn't the worst place I've stayed, but I wouldn't stay here again. Overall I'd say to others to not be deceived by the pictures you see online.
