The location is great, however the rooms need a bit of attention. Everything felt a bit grubby and our bathroom tap was loose, also some of the TV channels didn’t work and there was no option to cast/stream. Plus as the chain is now owned by Accor, the free mini bar is soft drinks only, despite the price of the room being the same. Overall a little disappointed.

Beautiful place to stay! Only issue, we stayed in room 002 and all night I was woken up but clicking relays from a BMS system or something mounted in the ceiling above the room

This is a great hotel especially if you enjoy heritage buildings being converted into hotels. In a great area of central Sydney. The room was a little squeezy but the bathroom was plenty big enough (beware, though, that if you don't like getting your hair wet, the shower is one of those overhead simulated rainforest arrangements with no separate shower wand). The bed was comfortable, breakfast superb (excellent coffee) and really the hotel ticks all the boxes for a single traveller.

Noisy! Main road bridge on-ramp and single glazed windows meant that road traffic noise was very loud. I changed rooms. Batteries in TV remote were flat so, couldnt switch it off. Paid for breakfast but left without any because staff were very poor and couldnt accomodate a simple dietary request. Its a nice old building and the staff are well intended but I wont be going back!

Great one-night stay. Very classy, boutique hotel. Staff were amazing. Check-in was a breeze. The room was comfortable (bed a bit soft might be the only complaint). The complimentary lolly bar in the foyer and in-room mini bar were very nice touches.

For your own safety, please take note that some room doors need to be pulled shut as they will only semi-close on their own. We made sure to do that, but even after telling the hotel everyday to let their housekeeping know, we still returned to our room door unlocked. Anyone could have walked in. Thankfully our items were not stolen. Other than this safety issue, the staff were really pleasant. Take note, that you can cut through the Novotel Car Park across the road to get to ICC quickly.
