This hotel is in the heart of Ginza. Shopping central and close to Ginza station which is well connected.

Overall the location is excellent, easy access to many places. The staff are very helpful. They serve excellent breakfast here! Only thing I have to report a negative thing: Room is so small I couldn’t open my suitcase. It’s very difficult to pack suitcase one half and turning the suitcase in a narrow hallway that not even 1/2 inches to spare.

Tokyu Stay Ginza was in a very convenient area. It was walking distance to two department stores with huge foodie basements. The staff was incredibly courteous. And the amenities were great. The only thing that wasn’t great was the slow wi-fi, but other than that it was fantastic.

Pros: In the middle of Ginza, easy access to shopping, restaurants, and metro. Cons: bery unclean. Spots everywhere. Reserved a non-smoking room, but very strong smoke smell inside. No coffee or water in the rooms. Very limited room service, just change towels and remove trash, no cleaning at all. Overall, overpriced. I wouldn't recommend it.

Despite booking a "bigger" room, the space is still small as expected in Japan standard. The sound proofing was not very good. We could hear the loud revving sound of cars/bikes in the middle of the night. There were urine stain underneath the seat cover. Nonetheless for the reasonable room rates and excellent location, overall we had a good stay. The free coffee in the lobby was a plus and it taste good too.

Proximity near train stations and shopping centers are great. However, the hotel is lacking. The room smells of mildew especially the bathrooms, the carpets in the rooms have stains on them, the hotel breakfast restaurant is always closed, and amenities are less than expected (but very confident to have a washer/dryer in room).

The hotel staff culture seems a bit toxic, one particular staff member was particularly rude for no apparent reason. Besides that there were no issues with th hotel itself and their facilities.

Great property. Great staff. Great breakfast. This hotel is located perfectly next to the subway system, close to a lot of shopping and cultural sites (Edo Castle ruins/Imperial Palace grounds). The staff is extremely attentive and courteous, even going as far as coming back out to check on us as we were loaded up in our taxi trying to get to our next destination after checking out! The staff member ended up helping us translate to Japanese, and this was after she hailed him for us.

It was great to have a washing machine in the room. Location was fantastic. Services within the hotel were good. Although the breakfast was underwhelming. The room was too small for 2 people. There was nowhere to put 2 suitcases. We made do and as we were out all day. We also had an internal room with a view of the fire escape. Would have preferred a better view and would ask should I return.
