Starting off from booking, phone service was prompt and guest services handled my accidental double booking fairly quickly with Expedia issuing a refund quickly. So, thank you. FYI, after booking, there's a deadline for a verification process to submit your ID to the hotel, which is the first time I've had to do that. After arrival to the hotel, Valet directed me on where to park in the garage and how to receive an in/out pass for my rental car. At the front desk, I went to check in at 6pm, that's 2hrs past their 4pm check-in time, and was told that my two-bdrm VIP suite was not yet ready/cleaned and that theyre backed up on housekeeping. I waited while a manager went to 'check' the room.. who returned 20 min later, handing us the keys and saying, 'good to go'. I got my parking pass, went up to the room, where there were NO towels, the kitchen garbage can was packed full, & wifi wasnt connecting to the reservation for 'guest' access. I called the front desk to ask about getting towels, emptying the garbage, and ask about the wifi log-in. I was told, "We'll see what we can do". No, towels, no garbage emptying, OH but they SENT A WIFI TECH GUY up to the room who proceeded to tell me to call the front desk back. 😅 By the next day, they corrected the system issue.. BUT the standing SHOWER FLOODED the entire living area from a poor seal. Looked & Never mopped the floor or took the old dirty towels back.. we took towels from the pool. Oh & the fees were OUTRAGEOUS. No wine, too.

I stayed in room 709, a corner suite. Very spacious room. The couch had stains you could clearly see, I forgot to take a picture to show future guests. I was wondering did they even clean the balcony because I saw an old black & mild, plus the remnants of blunt paper. The water in the bathroom sink went down very slow (plumbing issue). The views were very nice from the room. The killer for me was the smell in the hallway on the floor. It literally smelled like garbage. Like a garbage truck was parked on the 7th floor. That’s inexcusable!!!! The smell permeated throughout the hallway. That’s DISGUSTING. I guess it was coming from the garbage chute, but it was ridiculous. It was a two day stay for me. I'd rate it 2.5-3 star hotel. Probably won't stay there again.

Hotel is fine, room is big with full kitchen and appliances, there were some bugs flying around in the room. Overall hotel and staffs were fine but this area is completely unsafe and noisy, we were staying at lower level and there are a lot of loud music from a bar near by and cars were running all night long. This area completely unsafe, homeless, thief’s and robbers are all over the places, I witnessed myself to see two young men robbed an old man during daytime in parking lot near by. So be careful when you walk around carry some purses, watches, jewelry. If you rent a car, please don’t put anything visible in car to avoid break in. If you happen to visit LA, please stay far away from downtown.
