Remarkables Garden is adjacent to the Wyndham Garden Hotel and close to the Remarkables Town Centre, Ramada Queenstown and Wakatipu High School. It is a scenic 15-minute drive to central Queenstown. There is a bus stop right at your doorstep that goes into town and one within walking distance to take you up to the ski fields.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment worked very well for the 4 of us (adults). It was clean, and had nice extras like heated bathroom floors and towel racks. It was located close to shopping and restaurants, was not too far from Queenstown and offered spectacular views of the mountains.

Perfect location and glorious view
So glad we stayed outside of Queenstown. Town is lovely but very crowded during summer months. Lots to see and do in the area. Condo has an amazing view and pretty much everything you need. Living room, dining area and kitchen were small…can barely have four adults in the area at one time..we made it work. Nice to have designated parking and laundry services. Beds comfy and shower is good. Did I mention the view is incredible?

The property does have a view of the mountains but is surrounded by large apartment blocks.
There were not enough beds for the 4 people staying, the couch is not suitable for a teenager to sleep on. The contact person was rude when I asked if there was a roller bed or air mattress available. We ended up buying our own.

Lovely stay apart from little hiccups
Property was really nice and new, good location, great view of the Remarkables. However on arrival late at night - the fob from the lockbox for entry into the apartment had a flat battery and would not work. We were only able to enter the building because two people exited the front door and let us in. The fob would not open the garage entry either. (It would be be helpful for the owner to check before guests arrive that everything is in order for a smooth stay). Upon arrival into our room we found heaps of dead flies on the floor (at least 20 - which we had to vacuum up) and dead flies in the cupboard. Not a great start. Apart from this - we could not fault the apartment.

There were none of the life qualities we have been accustomed too in other properties.
Too far from town. Uba taxi $29.90 to Madam Woo restaurant (which is closest reference point for me to use). Two adults had no interest in kiddy shows, nor foreign programs available on the property’s TV. Second bedroom too small (as was second bathroom).

Really great space, being located by the airport and shopping centre was fantastic. Views out the bedroom and lounge windows are amazing. All the facilities are well maintained. Great to have 2 bathrooms and the ability to wash/ dry laundry. Lovely to arrive to heatpump and heated bathroom floors. Only downside is the awkward way to enter the carpark - cant be helped by the property manager though, its just the way it is.
