Many staff didn't even seem to be in uniform. And some very abrupt. No smiles or welcomes. Room was very dated TV channel selection was woeful. Worst thing of all was the hotel foyer. Walk into 20 shrieking kids. Right at reception. Gees. Separate room at the back of the hotel - or close the area in or put a door on. Check in area had no privacy at all - everyone around can hear about your booking.

The room we had booked was incredibly tiny, unsuitable for 2 people so we upgraded to a more normal room which was fine. The buffet breakfast was average at best.
