We've stayed at the parklane suite, which is a detached wing of the hotel, completely separate from the main property. While I'm sure the main hotel lives up to it's 5-star designation, the parklane suite was anything but. The building itself was quite old and looked in need of some renovations. The room was outdated, and aging furniture was clearly visible. The living space and amenities were fairly limited, and the experience truly fell short of a 5-star hotel, or even a 4-star hotel. The parklane suite at best felt like a 3-star motel. Keep in mind, this hotel includes multiple buildings under the same name, which might not be clearly outlined during reservations. On the other hand, the service here was quite excellent, and the hotel staff were very welcoming and considerate, but the accommodation itself was quite disappointing to say the least. Overall, the hotel has a nice heritage vibe to it, but the stay at the parkland suite did not live up to expectations. Given the price and the high designation of this hotel, it was a very disappointing experience in the otherwise beautiful city of Singapore.

It's an incredible stay with the friendly staffs, especially Uncle Thomas. His sincereness and welcoming attitude are genuinely next level. Will try to pick rooms in the main hotel instead of the Parklane Suits next time as the hardware there is a bit too old and the building itself is not as fabulous as the main hotel but undeniably its spaciousness is suitable for families like us.

Would have liked a better sofa bed rollaway mattress and explaining of pillow menu. Poolside had no attendant. Hotel was overall very nice otherwise but annexe is a separate building keep in mind!

Great place to unwind, away from hustle and bustle
Stayed in the parklane suites for four nights. Guest experience was top notch, all the hotel staff from the front office counter, restaurant, concierge, night desk, cleaning, room service, guest service relations staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was ideal, it’s walking distance to the orchard belt and Newton shopping centre. Will definitely be staying here again when I am back in Singapore. Special thanks to Jimmy Lee, the front office manager who has taken exceptional good care of me and my wife.
Parklane suite, it was quiet and peaceful.

The rustic and well preserved walk up stairs to the bedroom within the parklane suites. Reminds me and my wife of the old Singapore residential homes we used to grow up in. They don’t make houses with these unique structures any more.
