Perfect for what it is - still get a sense of privacy even though you are sharing rooms. Staff was wonderful and it’s in the perfect place to access a where in the city through the train systems.

This is a budget location, so you need to be prepared to make compromises and I was. I needed some place to sleep for 6 hours between flights. However, there are some factors that fall outside of that. First off the photos of the site don't really give a true idea of what it is like. You get the impression that it's some hi-tech set-up. It isn't. The doors are fairly basic/old with a grey paint job. Same goes for the flooring. The screens for the pods are like window blinds, so don't keep out any noise and the aircon in my room was a small portable unit on the floor. So you get disturbed at night whenever anyone comes in or goes out. The main thing that attracted me to this place was the price. It was S$70 vs. S$180 for the yotel in Changi. Was it worth it? Despite the snags, I'd say on balance yes. But also because I needed to pick up something in Newton before returning to Changi. If not, it would not really have been worthwhile.

First time in this type of stay. I booked a “Queen private room” and it was ok. Overpriced considering this is a hostal, and I would not recommend it to anyone with claustrophobia. I felt safe the whole time, the staff was nice and the rooms around mine were not loud. So it was not as bad as I expected.

Great location just off Arab St, & close to Bugis MRT station & right outside Park Royal bus stop. Tiny room though no more than 3m sq. with no natural light. Shared bathroom facilities.

I loved the place, staff was very nice. Location was very convenient. The only two things I did not like was the internet connection was very poor most of the time and in the rooms you can feel them with a lot of humidity and you don’t have a proper place to hung up your towel to dry so every day I was drying myself with a humed towel. Those things I did not love at all but I still will pick it because of the place, staff, price and location.

Misleading Room Description
Hotel was economical and fine. However, the single pod suite does not offer any level of privacy. There is a large open lattice at the top that lets in noise from up to eight other "suites" in the same room. I specifically booked a single pod as I was worried about covid and other illnesses during this time. Additionally, the showers were not always that clean with lots of hair left behind in the drain and my towel had a yellowish streak as well.
