as others have said, the shower on top of the toilet is not great but workable as there is a water broom to help evacuate the water. you can't keep towels in the bathroom or anything really as everything gets wet when you shower. room is absolutely tiny, thankfully there was room under the bed for the suitcases because otherwise you wouldnt be able to walk. however it was fine for a one night stay, nicely situated by the river. I would stay again for one night only.

If you like the Quay area of Singapore this is 5 minutes walk to Clarke Quay. It is also walkable to Chinatown which MRT runs from to several places. The only downside is the room is very small.

À éviter. Je n'ai jamais vu du personnel du Ibis aussi désagréables et incompétants à la réception. Chambre petite et sans fenêtre. La douche est collée sur la toilette et il n'y a pas de séparation pour la douche donc toute la salle de bain sera mouillée et malgré le bouton pour l'eau chaude, l'eau de la douche ne sera pas vraiment chaude. Murs en carton vous allez entendre votre voisin de chambre lorsqu'il est aux toilettes... bref, je ne recommande pas. Les seuls points positifs sont la piscine et la localisation de l'hôtel.

Overall perfectly adequate for my short trip
Overall it was a very pleasant stay for 3 nights. Staff was good and friendly. Room bed was excelllent. Comfy and good firmness and great pillows. Night staff...should not be talking or chatting with friends in their own language while helping me check in or answer questions because it makes guests uncomfortable. But overall a good and perfectly adequate stay for my intended purpose. I didnt like that there was no shower stall or curtain so everything gets wet and takes a longer time to clean up and dry. TV channels were lacking. Great food next door at Funko! Gret day time staff helping me. Thank you! Still a bit expensive for a budget hotel however for my booking.

It's cheap compared to other options but be aware some rooms are very small, have no windows, and the bathroom is so small it IS the shower cubicle. Esentially like a prison cell. Fine if you just come back to sleep.

Musty corridors since it is an old building. Trash outside the building. Nothing against the hotel but I was surprised that it's not cleaned up. Need more outside lighting for safety at night. A little pricey for a budget hotel. It was $184 USD for what is normally should be under USD$100. However, location is good. Only 17 mins to Merlion statue & bayfront.

Good location for bars and restaurants.
Within walking distance to the bars and restaurants at Clarke Quay, SMRT station across the avenue with easy connections to the other lines, but shower doesn't have curtains, the toilet was a mess after taking a shower.
